This project was shot with the intent to document kiosks and street businesses in Egypt and Dubai, through portraits of the people who work there. The photographs focus on workers during moments of labour, often emphasizing the working hand without reducing the subject to it. The goal of the work is to show dedication to craft and business through their actions rather than posing. By keeping the images direct, the series presents labour as it is, without dramatization, and highlights the everyday forms of labour for street businesses.
