"The last thing I saw" is a photographic series consisting of 25 macro photographs of  strangers' eyes. The process  consisted of asking random  strangers on the streets of Halifax, Nova Scotia,   "What was the  last thing you  saw that  was eye-catching?" Each answer was noted, and then their eye would be photographed. This  project explores perspective and how each eye uniquely  sees the world through its everyday interactions.
